AIW Radeon. Only B/W and no sound when capturing

Hi guys,

I have just recently bought the ATI RADEON All in Wonder 32MB and am now having problems. I'm sorry if this is an all too obvious question, but I have looked and not really found a solution elsewhere on the web.

OK, I'm using Win98 and have connected using s-video cable. I do get a black and white image, but no sound. It doesn't matter whether I'm using Ulead or ATI TV Player. l need PAL and it is set to PAL-I. I've checked the cables and they seem fine.
Also, recording in volume control is not muted.
When outputting from PC to TV, the picture is fine, but I don't get sound, just a loud hum from the TV speakers.

Sound familiar? I'd really appreciate any help I can get.

your S-video cable might be bad or ther purple cable that come with the all in wonder go to direct x website there's a patch for direct X 8.0 video capture
