Hi
Re: Quickest/Easiest Way To Shrink MKV File
Tried Ripbot but it takes ages. Is there a quicker way?
Also getting stretched bodys and double screens when played back.
Can anyone recommend an easy solution to fix this?
Thanks

There is no easy way to shrink it other than to re-encode it. Depending on by how much, it might be as simple as re-encoding the audio, or it may mean both. How ling this takes depends on the codec, the PC and the software. Xvid4PSP is one option that will read and write mkv file and can do your re-encoding.
Stretched bodies s an aspect ratio issue, either with the file, or with the player. Most software players can adjust for this on the fly.
Double-screen usually means codec issues. You probably need to update the codec or get a better player (VLC or The KM Player are pretty good).Read my blog here.
