I tried many times to get Pinnacle studio 7 to produce an edited video as AVI file and all of them ended up over 4 GIG using different codecs and all of them were refused by tmpgenc :( It would accept the file as audio source but not video source.
So doesnt it support files that large?

People use frameserving to get to Tmpgenc, and does not let Tmpgenc open the large files itself. You're basically limited to 4 gig files with Tmpgenc. If you use NTSF file system and the file is AVI2 compliant, tmpgenc should open files of any size.
