  1. I have been using tmpg to encode my completed programs from premier 6.0, but have been frustrated with the length of time it takes to encode. I broke down and downloaded the demo version of cce sp 2.64. I have encoded a couple of things in vbr mode and am very pleased with the encoding time and the quality. My problem is that I can't burn the encoded files to dvd. I use ulead movie factory as my authoring and burning program. When I go to load the files, in the authoring part of the program, it gives me the message that none of the files that I created contain video or audio data on the mpv files. I don't get a mpg file when I use vbr. I just get a mpa file and a mpv file. What am I doing wrong. I need to get both audio and video to my authoring program. Can anyone give me instruction on how to do this properly? I couldn't find any help specific to my problem when I searched the forum. If I need other software to get me to the point of burning, I guess I could get that, but I would hope that cce sp would be all that I need I am using windows 2000 and have a 1.4 amd processor. Please help.

  4. How do I Multiplex? Do I need another program. I actually like ulead movie factory. It does a great job with tmpgenc. Of course that is all I have used it with. Sorry if I sound stupid.

  5. Funny how once you learn about something it seems so easy, but before it sure does seem difficult. Thanks for all your help. I am multiplexing with tmpg. Is there an opinion on a program that works the best for muliplexing? Really my goal is to achieve the highest quality I can get to put on dvd's. That is what I am after. Speed is a big bonus, but I will sacrifice some speed for quality. Using CCE SP, 3 pass at 7000 bit avg. 3000 min. and 9000 max is what I am doing right now. (both audio and video) Then multiplex with tmpg, and author and burn with ulead movie factory. If their are opinions on a better format, feel free to comment.

    Thanks!
