    MY dvd rom was orignally X

    My scsi nero image drive (not compatible) was Y

    My usb zip cd was Z


    now the dvd is Z and the burner is X


    this must change or some programs will not operate


    I have XP pro

    I know in 98se you can change the drive letter by go into Control Panel>System>pick the device and under settings the drive letter is there, which you can change. I am not sure if this option is available under XP, I hope this was a little help.

    and do it
