Hi.
I 'd like to ask you guys if there is a way to view a video material field by field with some tool. I just want to make sure that the jerky playback of a DVD I have is a result of "wrong field first" setting.
Thanks

VirtualDub has a Bob Doubler filter. AviSynth has a simple Bob filter built in.

Well, I wanted to pause the interlaced clip at a particular field (1/50 sec in PAL), where motion occurs and then advance to next field and so on, to show up field disorder, if any.
I finally managed to do it with "preview" option of tmpgenc (after having set frame rate: 50fps, encoding mode: non-interlace and deinterlacing method: even-odd field).
