    I have converted a .TP0 file from a PVR to mpg format with MPEG Streamclip plays OK in most applications including Videoredo but WMP and some minor applications refues to play and or encode into other formats such as avi.
    I have drawn the following info with mediainfo
    I hope you guys can help me unravel the mystery

    You could try use the quickstream fix in videoredo and make new mpg that might work better.

    And I guess you know that mpeg2 video doesn't work in wmp without a mpeg2 decoder.

    is it nice if I had an option to install MPEG2 decoder in Windows XP then everything would have been possible without a problem.

    If you need a MPG-2 codec for WMP, you could try Stinkys MPEG2 Codec.

    Thanks but already done it
    WMP crashes as soon as it is loaded
