  1. Hi,

I've shooted holidays videos. These videos were shooted with 2 différent cameras (a mini dv one and a mini dvd).

There is just a small problem, the sound level is not the same for both cameras.

So, how can I make the volume more constant between all scenes (videos are mixed togheter like this DV-DVD-DV-DV-DVD-DV,...)

If is better to use the normalize function on each individual wave file ?
    Use RMS volume normalize ?

    Other method ???

I use Soundforge 9 to edit my audio files.

    Thanks.

Peak volume normalization or normalize to -1dB, then apply dynamic range compression (should be an audio plugin for that, maybe wavehammer? I don't use Soundforge) to even out the levels more.
