i'm cuting a MPG file that i converted from a divx avi and my problome is when i cut the mpg and load it into Nero to burn a vcd it says that the mpg is bad. Now i can take the MPG before cutting it and put it into Nero to make a vcd and it would work if i could fine a 200 min cd but i cant find them so i need to put the MPG.

Hi!
My advice is to try a different version of TMPGenc. The latest versions (2.50,2.51) seem to have fixed any small bugs that were in the MPEG Tools section.
Also, try VCDCutter. This is also a bit buggy but has proved pretty stable for me!
Finally, what happens if you switch compliance off in Nero and burn anyway?
Hope this helps,

What is the error you are getting from nero?
It does seem strange that cutting a file can make it non complient, unless perhaps you set the wrong stream type (eg MPEG1 (Video CD)) in the cut dialog box in TMPGE and in the process converted your VCD to something else (eg system, SVCD etc) -
Simple fix for me is to run mpeg corrector and repair the cut mpeg. just go to the tools section download and check it out it fixes the error of tmpgenc 2.1x and nero compliance check
