If I ever play a movie on my DVD player that requires subtitles, it always seems to have a weird issue with .srt files. I have no problem with .sub/.idx, they always output nicely but when I put in .srt they seem to have timing problems. Every once in a while, a line of the subtitle text will only stay on screen for a very very short time (as in blink and you'll miss it). I decided to check if the issue was with the .srt file so I put it on the computer and checked, there were no problems. The same line of text I noticed that went by immediately stayed on screen properly when I played it back on the computer (as in it stayed on the screen long enough to read/until the person stopped speaking the line or sentence or whatever). Maybe people here have had an issue with this, I don't know why .srt files will get random lines of the subs being skipped over quickly.

This a very old bug in all firmware with MTK chip know as "1 sec. srt bug". This bug is solved if you use my mod firmware.
