    I have this MPG movie on computer using GOM player 30min into it it stops playing in if I jump the move like 1min ahead it starts playing about for about 30 secs or so stops again if I jump it forward like 10min it plays fine I think it only does this for like 8 to 10 min of the move what is wrong & how would I get it to play druing this part

    Sounds like the file is corrupted. You can try running it through a MPEG editor and cutting out the bad sections and see if that helps. Or you can try one of the MPEG repair programs here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/video-repair-fix
