Found this video and thought it was funny. Honestly if the forum could be set up to allow embedding flash video I think this would be a good sticky for the newbie/general section. Just embed this video right into the post.

I know that the video is all fun and games, but it's amazing how many people believe that there is an actual message board etiquette.
I understand that there are base rules, and some sites have very strict rules, but you'll never truly be able to govern human nature. Hell, if people can't be civil to each other in a work setting where their jobs depend on it, odds are heavily against them showing any restraint on an anonymous forum.
Besides, most of these Rules of Forum Etiquette" lists are arbitrary and not really set from what a greater consensus feels is correct. "I agree. LOL" is perfectly acceptable, if the question is (for example) "Don't you think that Naked Geek is the worst media?" -
