I encoded a vob file to x264 mkv, the result has a wider width then the source, so some details on the left and the right in the source don't appear in the result
When encoding, I leave the resize to original, and autocrop, so why it has a wider width ?

What software are you using?
What resolution are you converting to?
What is the source aspect ratio? 2:45,1.77? -
Sorry, I used staxrip, practically I just load the anime profile, with default template, the only thing I changed is only CRF value, that's all, the resolution of the source is 352 x 480, ar is 0.733, and that aren't changed for the ouput
I just reencode with crop disabled, now the problem gone, it seems that auto crop is the culprit, what is the use of cropping ?
