Hi All,
Does anyone have any idea what causes this red saturation issue during normal playback? If I play this tape at normal speeds, I see the red saturation color over the entire picture. If I fast forward the tape, the red saturation disappears, and looks normal.
Perfect image only during fast forward playback
The image turns and displays a red saturation color during normal playback.
Thanks.

Is this a home-recorded tape or a commercial one? From the freeze frame alone, that sure looks like macrovision copy-protection to me.

Its a commerical tape, of the olympic games back in 1996. I'm using my JVC HR-S9500U VCR, and ADVC100 Capture device to my pc.

This is the first macovision tape I came across in my collection. Is there a way I can remove it?

 Thanks.
