World of Warcraft newbie - back to life?

Ok I have just recently joined the WOW craze. I have only played a few times. I am now dead however. I am an orc and found a hidden path in the desert area. I went over the cliff and died in the water. When I revived as a ghost I didn't know what was going on. I just wandered around. I ended up finding a boat and it took off to another continent. HOw in the heck do I get back to life??????? I am currently in front of a healer. However I have no idea what do to do. I don't even know if it is one of "my" healers - its kind of an angel looking one...

Should I just abandon this character and start over?????

Well I actually got back in it but I can't remember how I did it. It was something like click on the healer and then drag your icon over their icon. But I can't repeat the back to life procedure.

Any help?

I respectfully disagree. I still spend a lot of time there, even though I shouldn't. The high level characters are starting to kick out members of the parties when the parties take a "wipe". Hate that.

The most boring game on earth.I watched my brother in law playing it he is like level 70 something not sure.I don't see anything interesting about at all.just a a group of players running around killing rabbits and doing so called "missions" .lol.worst part you have to pay

You don't have to pay to play...you just have to pay to play with the other millions of subscribers. I play for free and I don't have to deal with the thousands of screaming kids all trying to Ninja loot

Yoda, if you were low level it would be easier just to restart a new character. You pretty much have to ride the boat back to where your corpse is or find a friendly graveyard (not so good if you are in a high level zone). Or if you ask for a GM and explain your situation they might help you and tele you back to your corpse.
