    All,
    I'm using Nero 8 - Whenever I try to burn a disk my PC shutdown. When I bring it back up I'm unable to find any entry in the event logs.
    Has anyone had anything like this happen?
    How did you resolve

    Gotta agree with lordsmurf. Most of the "DVD Burning Problem" posts on this site start with "I'm using Nero." (A few years back, I had the same Nero issues myself). ImgBurn is the ONLY consistently reliable burning software. And use good DVD media, like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. A lot of bad burns come from crappy blank discs.
