  4. I have been having the same problem but can't figure out what or why it is not working. I made sure I had DVD2AVI.vfp and TMPGEncVFP located in the same file as TMPGEnc.exe but TMPGE will not load the .d2v file. What is going on? Am I using the wrong version or something. Can somebody please help me out here.

  5. You don't have to have the DVD2AVI.vfp in the TMPGEnc folder, get rid of it and put it back in the DVD2AVI folder.

    Verify that this KEY exists with the correct paths to your versions:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VFPlugin]
    "DVD2AVI"="C:\\Program Files\\DVD2AVI 1.82\\DVD2AVI.vfp"
    "TMPGEnc"="C:\\Program Files\\TMPGEnc 2.51\\TMPGEnc.vfp"

  7. Hi,

    I've been troubled by the same problem but have found the answer (On My PC).

    I sometimes convert my DVD's to DivX, and sometimes to VCD. What i found out is that some of the newer "tweaked" DVD2AVI version which are needed for DivX conversion do not create valid TMPGenc files....
    Some of the older version which work fine for TMPGenc, but not for DivX....(older than 1.76)

    The version that does both for me is DVD2AVI v1.76 by LOLI.J
    It can be downloaded here :
    http://home.wanadoo.nl/gamefreakcdcopy/downloads/dvd/dvd2avi176.zip

    Hope this helps...

  9. Ehrm,

    Sorry for being unspecific about that..... I was referring to version 1.76 of DVD2AVI..... I''m currently using TMPGenc v2.51 and all older version (from about v 12b) worked fine for me.

  11. i have a problem, i dont even have those two files, VFAPI and the DVD2AVI.VFP....

    In Order for TMPGEnc to recognise D2V files, you MUST have the VFAPI and the DVD2AVI.VFP file located
    where the TMPGEnc.EXE file is! it will NOT work any other way!

  12. slayer6nine: That is incorrect! You don't need the DVD2AVI.VFP in the same folder as TMPGENC.exe at all, see my earlier post.
