    I am wondering if any DVD players can play MPEG (1 or 2) files?
    I mean if a player can play MP3 files, why shouldn't it be able to play MPEG? I am very interested in a such player since I am getting sick and tired of using hours of my time decoding MPEG files onto a VCD.......
    The best would of course have been with a player that could have played AVI files.....

    Anybody know of such DVD players?

    there is a dvd player that plays mpegs, avi, and even divx...

    Apex 5131 will play mpeg files, as well as jpg files
