  1. I've been using AutoGK many times and I think it's great! However I now have a problem when trying to rip a DVD it will after selecting the main PGC show 3 entries in the Audio Tracks box saying English AC3 2ch where there usually for a movie with 5.1 sound is an entry ending with 6ch - should I in this case select all three 2ch entries to get 6ch sound or how should I handle this?

Also another thing that got me confused is that after selecting what seems to be the main IFO file it comes up with this list where I must select a PGC and this list has 16 entries where both nr1 and nr16 (the first and the last entry in the list) are have exactly the same length which would be the length of the movie.

Thanks in advance for any help on how to rip this kind of DVD!

  2. If there are only 3 DD 2.0 audio tracks, then there's no DD 5.1 and you choose one of the DD 2.0 (2 channel) tracks.

Decrypt using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode and choose one of the versions of the movie. Or decrypt using DVDFab HD Decrypter in Main Movie mode.

  3. OK, that's strange because according to the spec for the movie it should feature DD 5.1 sound.

Well, at least it's good to know I can still trust in AutoGK

It would not be the first DVD to have the wrong specs on the box. I have discs with the different audio tracks to what is listed, letterbox when they should be anamorphic, even incorrect aspect ratio descriptions. I have discs that have commentaries and other extras that aren't listed (Boogie Nights lists only deleted scenes on the box, but has a full commentary track as well), and incorrect running times (my $5 bargain bin copy of Brazil lists as the short theatrical version on the box, but is in fact the full 142 minute Director's Cut). Boxes lie.
