    Hi,

    I recorded a clip from TV with my standalone DVD-recorder and imported the .VOB file in Vegas. Sound is ok if played from the beginning but trying to play it from other any point makes the playback mute, only the video is shown.

    Can I get a clue of whay may be going on?

    Please give us some more details, like which version of Vegas you're using...a screenshot would be helpful, too. Do you see the audio waveform when the vid's open in Vegas? Is it the same length as the video track? Is the audio pcm or ac3 format?
