    How about telling us exactly what the error says?

    You can use a program like:

    DXMan
    Codec Sniper
    DirectShow Filter Manager
    Filmerit

    These can repair or delete codecs or change their priorities. You can also use Gspot to see which codecs are installed and which ones are used with different file types. If you know the file type that is causing the problem, try rendering one with Gspot and it will tell you what processes are used. And those codecs you listed seem to be compression codecs. Your problem seems to be with the decoding part of the codecs. CODEC=(Code/Decode}

    Some of those codecs you listed are Windows system codecs and not really a good idea to remove them unless they are corrupted.

    There is also a simple workaround that works most times, just disable thumbnails in 'Folder Options'. Those type of crashes or errors are most commonly caused by Windows Explorer trying to read a file it doesn't understand.

    Or just try installing ffdshow and see if that fixes it. ffdshow isn't a codec pack and rarely causes problems.
