  1. I just posted this question in the Newbie section, then I realized this forum existed.

I'm compiling a "Best Of" dvd of some of my concerts. Some of the audio is really quiet. Is there a way to normalize the audio of all the clip in Adobe Encore CS3 or do I have to use something else?

I use this app for music vid collections. Not only does it normalize but it will also standardize all the various audio to whatever you choose.

Are the videos already in mpeg2 format? (i.e not avi, mov etc).

You mentioned Encore CS3, since it only comes with Premier CS3 so I suggest you use Premier to do both the video and audio editing. The Audio editor allows for some audio cleaning, enhancements and volume control.

Once you are done with the editing, mark the chapter points and chose "Export to Encore" or Export the edit as mpeg2-dvd files for burning with Encore later on.
