To anyone who may read this or can help me out I woudl really apreciate it very much.
I have an external LACIE 500GB d2 bigdisk. I have had it for a few years now, and all
of a sudden it stopped working. I unpluged it/ rebooted even tried it on other ports/ and different
computer but it is not being(getting) detected at all. Thought maybe it was a driver issue but
the disk that came with it doesn't have any drivers for it or anything liek that. I was hoping someone
    could help me out.
I reboot, wiggle cables(USB) around hoping it will pick it up but no luck?

One of the problems with these drives is that originally it came with a power adapter that was 1.2A which was not good enough to power up the two hard drives in the case. It could be that the power adapter will no longer spin the drives up. They replaced the power adapter and if you have the 1.5A version you could try that.

Remember if you have had this for a few years, that there are two drives inside of this enclosure and if one fails, the drive won't work.

As it is already out of warranty and doesn't work anyway, open the case and remove the drives. You can then test them in your PC. It's possible they still work and you just have a bad case or power supply.
