Lacie LACinema Classic HD - 1T

I transfered a copy of a DVD to the hard drive of the Lacie.
When i acces the movie from the computer and play it I get the screen with the Main menu that displays all the chapters of the movie ==> Exactly as if playing a DVD movie from a DVD device.
When I connected Lacie to the TV - the movie played without Menus ....
Why am I having this problem ?
In essence i am wondering if :
Lacie supports complete DVD function including DVD menu ?
Would appriciate if anyone can let me know if they encountered such a problem and how they solved it.

As it turns out .... the LaCinema HD model does not support DVD menus. What a shame.
The remote sucks, you cant do much with it. There is no On/OFF switch to turn the hard disc off, you can only do that by unplugging it or if connected to the TV by scrolling to the shutdown option.
How sad the Lacie designers know how to make nice boxes but terrible software and remotes that date to primitive ages !
I don't recommend this model at all ..... I am sure there are better products available from other manufacturers.
