I don't know what the correct term is but it is like there are extra frames. I captured directly to xvid via ffdshow. Does anyone know what is happening and how to correct it. Captured at 640 by 480 audio and video are in sync and the overall picture is as good as the vhs material.
thank's

Xvid is too slow to compress while capturing. Divx's fastest settings are twice as fast as Xvid. You might have more luck with that.
