I use VirtualDub to splice and compress videos that I've recorded using Fraps, and through trial and error I found that the ffdshow codec produced high quality vids quickly without them being too large. However, I've recently picked up a new computer. I installed VirtualDub 64 bit (I'm running Win7 64 bit) and then proceeded to download the ffdshow codec. However, it's not showing up under available video compressors. Let me know whatever additional information may be needed, and I appreciate any help that can be provided.
Thanks
~FH

64 bit VirtualDub will require a 64 bit build of ffdshow. The ffdshow page here has a link to a 64 bit build.
In Win7 64 bit, 64 bit programs require 64 bit codecs, 32 bit programs require 32 bit codecs. The two don't mix.
