Are there any devices and/or Windows software that would allow me to use a USB port to get video from a PC to a TV?

It seems like there are a lot of USB products that do the opposite (video in through USB), but I can't find anything that'll do this.

The reason I'm looking is I'd like to get an UMPC that I could use to play videos on a TV. I can't find any UMPCs with a video out. Most have USB ports, though.

    Thanks for any input,
    Brent

I would find a UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer, I assume.) that has video output. I don't know of any USB to Video converters. And what type of input would your TV have?

As an alternative, there are small storage devices with a hard drive that have video out. Some have component, S-video, composite, and even HDMI.

Here's an example, though not necessarily recommending this device:

There are quite a few similar units out there.

I don't know of any UMPCs that have video output, other than the OQO2, which has HDMI out. I'm looking for composite or s-video out.

Thanks, I'll look into that option.
