Hi everyone...I was given a small projector to use at school to watch football games and such but the problem is that it only has one input, DVI.
What do I need to buy to convert basic Cable to DVI and have the ability to change channels. I don't want to spend more than $150.

Probably rent an HD cable box with DVI or HDMI out. An HDMI to DVI cable can be used for the latter although neither will connect unless the projector is HDCP compliant. This may be why it was given to you. Are you certain there aren't analog inputs?
Model number of the projector? Does it want 480i, 480p,720p or 1080i?Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

This says it does have analog video inputs.

The DVI-I input can be driven from a PC DVI-D or VGA out at Vesa or video resolutions. Native display resolution is 1024x768. Best to drive it at this resolution from a computer. No mention of HDCP so cable box probably won't work.
You may be missing some cables and the manual.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
