scrolling / running watermark on videos

Hi

I dont know if I am posting into the right section as it is concerned with watermarking videos.
I use tmpgenc express to watermark videos. But, I want a running text throughout the length of
the video. Is there any software to do it ? I mean the text (watermark) should keep scrolling ..

It's quite easy to achieve in a video editor such as Ulead Video Studio.

Add a title and animate it with a moving scroll path.

You just experiment then with the speed of the scroll (length of title) and just copy/paste the title for the remaining length of the movie

No.

If your videos are so precious that they must be watermarked to (gasp!) prevent the unwashed hordes from copying them, then you must be willing to do the work to learn how to do this.

You do understand that if this video is something you intend to charge for that people may not be very happy with your watermark. If you are charging for this video and you think that this watermark somehow offers you copy protection, all it will end up doing is probably just encourage people to be even more likely to copy your video rather than pay for it since they may view a watermarked video as damaged goods and unworthy of purchasing. That is EXACTLY how I would view it.

my videos are not precious, just want to put some info there. Its v easy to put simple watermark but you cant put much info that way.

If you use a Mac, iMovie allows you to EASILY add a title that would work as a watermark and you can adjust how long it stays.
