MPG video playback problem

hi,

i am trying to play a .MPG video file. The only player that it works on is VLC but it keeps on jumping scenes. I am using vista.

any help would be appreciated.

Try also media player classic and kmplayer.

Or the mpg could be broken, if it's a mpeg1 you can try mpeg correct and for mpeg2 use videoredo. You can use mediainfo to check if it's mpeg1 or mpeg2.
