  1. Hello,
I bought today an Asus v8200 GeForce 3 Ti 500 deluxe, with video-in.
But I have a problem capturing. What video drivers should I use? What capture drivers should I use? What capture proggie should I use?
The only combo I could have worked is using the Asus Drivers, with the capture drivers that are on the cd, and with AsusLive 4.6.
I'd like to use VirtualDub, but it cannot find any capture driver. And I cannot use the nVidia detonators drivers, which I would like to, (because I don't want to have bought this card to play games with crappy drivers) because if I install them, AsusLive cannot launch, it crashes. And concerning the video capture drivers, well... I'm a total newbie to that, so I don't know whereelse to find some than on the cd...
I am totally lost there, so if anyone can help me, thanks...

  2. Hi.
I'm pretty new too at this. I have an ASUS V6600 with video capture capability. I've used ASUSlive with few problems. I did upgrade the version that came with the card with a new one I downloaded off their website. I imagine that's what you have.

I haven't updated the graphics drivers. I've tried that before. I didn't really notice a lot of change with the nvidia drivers, so I changed back to the ASUS drivers. Plus, the nvidia drivers don't support some of the added features the ASUS card offers. I'd try changing back to the ASUS drivers.

I tried capturing with Virtualdub, but it says that it can't find the capture drivers. So, can someone help me out on this one.

    Hope something works for you.

The ASUSlive captures well. So far, the best capture quality I got was using the ASUS 2.0 at Quality 9.
