  1. I'm having a hard time making Studio 9 working in progressive mode.
My uncompressed footages are recognized as interlace, so the only way to work progressive is to import a progressive video first, usually mpeg1 800x352... that way all subsequent videos I import into the project with resolution less then 800x352 will be treated as progressive, however my 800x600 won't because of the 352 limitation on the height of the enabler progressive video. If I use higher resolution on the height of the enabler progressive video, Studio 9 will treat it as interlace and all subsequent footage too.
Studio 9 is my favorite studio program more then Studio 12 and it has cooler transitions then Vega. Please advice.

The enabler mpeg1 progressive video is encoded so @ 800x352. It consist of 1sec of pure black screen. The other files I want to apply the effects to are uncompressed videos recorded from urban terror build in avi creator so is progressive as well, both have 29.97fps

  5. It's been a long time since I've used Studio but can't you right click on a clip in the timeline and change it's properties from interlaced to progressive?

I'm trying to output it as mp4 h.264 and project settings can't be edited in studio 9, the project settings are automatically set when you insert a video and studio 9 automatically detects it's resolution and type and that's what it will be set for project settings.

No I can't change the video properties from interlace to progressive neither the project settings.

Again, what are your project settings, and what are you outputting to ?

For example, NTSC MPEG-2 for DVD @ 29.970 fps will always be flagged as interlaced, as will DV AVI NTSC @ 29.970 fps.

I already said my project settings, basically is automatically set based on the first clip I import but that can be changed if I import a higher resolution video. And I'm trying to output it as mp4 lvl5.1
