hi i'm using SVCD2DVD to convert several avi files. I'd like to split the movie into chapters for ease of reference - jumping to particular scenes. Can i do this using svcdd2dvd?
    all help appreciated.
    cheers

Chapters are simply marker points in a single title. The video is not split at these points, and doing so can affect playback by causing gaps.

It is generally done during the authoring stage, however very few all-in-one converters of anything other than either no chapters, x number of chapters, or chapters every x minutes. If you want to chose exactly where your chapters will go you will have to use a more manual authoring tool instead.

It may be possible to put chapter points in after the fact using tools like VOBBlanker and PGCEdit, but it will be a lot more work.
