    I guess it's a firewall issue. Read http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Why_do_I_get_NSIS_Error

I had issues sorta like that recently. My ISP was messing up and corrupting my downloads. I argued back and forth with them for days and it eventually fixed itself.

You got the NSIS error on the computer you downloaded it with but not another computer right?

Have you made any changes to this computer recently?

In the meantime consider these things:

    1. Try downloading from a different browser if possible. Lets make sure you don't have a corrupted browser.

    2. Have you fan a good virus anti spyware scan lately?

    3. Download a memtest ISO file on another computer and burn it to a CD. Boot to the memtest CD on the affected computer. Let it scan for a few hours. http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

    4. If this is windows XP AND you have a regular XP install CD put it into the computer then click start, then run. On the run line type in sfc /scannow Let it do its thing then reboot

Reformat the flash drive and confirm it is not the problem first

Nsis, sounds more like the windows installer issue, check if other system has windows installer 3.1 redistributable installed.

If that system dose, and the one with issue dose not, go to link, install, reboot, try again to install after.
