  1. Hi there, u may remember me about the horizitonal lines when capturing using Hauppauge WinTV GO PCI:

    The card was faulty and sent me a new one!

    Good news is that the picture quality is ACE!!!!!!!!!

    Bad news is that the quality of the captured video is worse! it is blurry, snowy, dull!

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    They said u should be a WinTV PVR.

    SHOULD I BUY IT??

    I achieved really high quality when I got this card one year ago but then the quality graduly faded away.

    Please help

    Which format are you capturing with ?
    I get excellent capture with this card using BTYUV, YUY2 or 24 bit RGB.

    I use:

    CD quality audio

    25/30fps
    320*240
    NO RECOMPRESSION YU12

    I used to be able to achieve high quality, I once made a broadcast quality video and then converted it to MPEG2 for great results but now I can't!

  6. That won't improve the quality! But I don't understand, my first card was faulty but produced beill results but the only down side was that u can see lines on the screen, this new card, the captured quality is worse! Help!!!!!!!!
