Video Problem after compression

I started ripping movies to my hard drive using DVD Decrypter and I'm using AutoGK to compress them, however, the last 2 movies I've done have come out all blotchy with the video... Like there are constant distortions with it that pop up such as boxes and bars if that makes sense. I've tried redoing them a bunch of times, even uninstalled AutoGK and re installed it, and I've done it at different quality settings but the same thing happens. Any Idea as to what's wrong?

Not right off the bat. However, this sounds to me like a corrupted source. Have you checked the source VOB files thoroughly to make sure the problem isn't with them?
