  1. How to convert dvd image file to .Avi

    I have an image file of 2,83 Go and a MDS file in the same folder... how can i convert directly the image file into a avi; Xvid or divx version

    most encoders would like the mpeg2 out of the dvd wrapper. use dvdshrink to open the image and reauthor it to a video with a single audio track. then use vob2mpeg to convert the vobs to .mpg all tools should be able to use that as a source.

    ps. they are free.

  3. how to reauthor it with a single audio track...

    i see a case checked and beside it 1.AC3 2-ch unspecified ... i am suppose to uncheck this case to have it with a single audio track ?

    if there are more than one audio tracks shrink would list them. leave one checked as that is what will be included with the video.

  5. but how am i suppose to reauthor the dvd... i am at the reauthored dvd section... i have selectionned the part i want to keep for my .avi but o don't know what to do from here...

    Simply RIP the DVD to your HDD, and then convert to avi using AutoGK.
