I just got a new harddrive and reinstalled all of my programs, but am having problems with PowerDVD. I am using Windows 98 and can view the video, but cannot hear any audio. I can get video and audio for DVDs through a different DVD player [Cinemaster] and can get audio for .avi files in Windows Media player, so I know it is not the sound card or speakers. It is not a problem with the DVD's because they worked before.
I have tried both PowerDVD 3 and 4, and neither one will play audio.
I was using PowerDVD3 before reinstalling and it worked fine.
Any ideas or suggestions to try to fix this? Thanks for any help.
