    Ok i am having a small issue .....i recently received a couple of movies that are DVD Screeners in MPG2. When i play it the sound and video are out of sync. Then when i try and convert it to VCD ...TMPGenc will then freeze up and nothing happens. Nothing seems to work when trying to convert this.
    I asked my friend that sent me the movie and his plays fine on his PC. The video and audio are both in sync. Is this something that has to do with a codec ?
    By the way this has happened with more than one DVD Screener i have received.
    Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

    Nobody has converted from MPG2 (SVCD) DVD Screener to VCD (MPG1) ?
    This is the Advanced forum right?

    the short version:
    load your mpeg2 into DVD2AVI - Save project.
    Load audio and video into TMPGEnc and save as VCD / XVCD.
