I cant get Vegas 8 Plat. to recognize my HV30 for hdv capture. However if I set the cam output as dv locked, it works just fine. I went thru the preference to set which device I wanted and it shows the IEEE, but no devices listed under that. Is there a codec I am missing??

Hmmm I have enough machine, just going to have to keep trying. I emailed Sony and they just repeated what their online help said to do. LOL I was disappointed, cause it was verbatim.
