I am trying to capture video off of my Time Warner DVR. To capture it I am using Pyro A/V Link and have been using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Is there a better program to use?
Also we recently had a TW repair man out to fix our cable and we asked him if there was any easy way to get video off the DVR. He said that there was something you could buy that plugs into the USB port and takes the video off and converts it to .avi or .mpg.
Does anyone know what it is? Or was he full of BS?
Thanks in Advance

Try WinDV for basic DV capture or ScenalyzerLive for more features.

I never heard of a USB device for a SA DVR box but it would be technically possible if TW wanted to do one.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
