Hi guys,
I'm looking for a program that will take screenshots of video. I need a somewhat precise (one second resolution) timeline and it will have to be able to handle interlaced video (so that the screenshot doesn't come out with lines).
I don't mind paying so long as it's not over $100. What do you recommend ?
Thanks.

Are you looking for something that will take shots from a video playing in another application, or something that will load the video itself and produce the stills ?
The difference is important. Something that takes stills from another playback application will not see interlacing, it will just see whatever is on the screen. How well the interlacing is handled will be down to the playback tool, not the capture tool.
On the other hand, something that loads the video itself will have complete control.
The question then is - do you have the source video, or are you grabbing from a stream ?Read my blog here.

Hi,
I have the source so I'm looking for a program that loads it.
I tried doing it in Vegas but they don't come out good. Not only do they come out interlaced but I have to remember to change the preview window to 'full' size before I take the shot, it's a pain.
Thanks.
