    How do you erase a hardrive? I'm thinking of selling my computer. I know the information never fully erases (or that's what I heard). I have seen a spot on my computer where I can erase cookies. Will that work or do I have to get some software to erase everything?

    Go out and download the Utimate Boot CD (UBCD)
    It has a few programs that will do it...Even one that does the DOD version
