  1. Can anyone please help me? I have a problem with all my videos on my computer. Whenever i play a video theres's a mainconcept logo on the upper right-hand side of the video. It's rather large and annoying. This happens on all the videos i have. The funny thing is that this only happens when i play the videos on winamp or windows media player. I have only three media players on my pc: winamp, wmp and nero 7. This doesn't happen at all if i use nero. The logo's only there when i play it using winamp or wmp. There won't be a logo if the same video is played using nero. i have never used any encoders or any other stuff on these videos. I downloaded all of my videos off the internet like movies or tv series.

Can somebody please help me on this? I'm a total noob on these computer technical things so i apologise if anyone finds me annoying. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I changed your topic subject. We know that you need help.

Do you have any mainconcept program installed?
Have you installed any codec pack that may include a mainconcept decoder?

you have the mainconcept mpeg splitter and/or the main concept mpeg2 decoder on your PC. Use the Radlight Filter Manager. click on the + next to directshow filters to expand the list-look for mainconcept-also. Also load it in G-spot and hit the render button to see the directshow filters used for playback.

The demo versions of the Mainconcept MPeg decoders have the logo. You can buy the full version from them or install software that has the decoder bundled.

  6. Just get a free MPEG2 decoder like ffdshow or GPL MPEG2 Decoder. Or use a player that has MPEG2 decoders built in like MPC, VLC, or KMPlayer.
