  3. I want to change a pal file to ntsc and change the resolution before encoding in tmpenc. I can't seem to open my avs file in tmpenc. What am I supposed to do to go from avisynth to tmpenc?

  4. Hi!
If you're having trouble getting an AVS file into TMPGenc, try turning DirectShowFilter off in TMPG's environmental settings menu.
    Worked for me!

yes, disable the direct show filter.
Have a look at this topic too: http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=77629&highlight=

Let me do some tests with Avisynth 1.03 and 0.3, because 1.05 does not work properly when you convert PAL to NTSC(Film). If you want to frameserve with VirtualDub, you have to do the audio seperately anyway (BeSweet, cool edit). The only way to do both at once might be Avisynth.
I will reply after I finished the test.
