How can i get TMPEGEnc to read a segmented avi generated by virtuadub, at the moment it just stops after the first part.
Or do i have to just do each one separately and then join them?
Or is this frameserving thingy the answer, what is that anyway?

yes, frameserve. Open the first segment in VirtualDub, add filters if you like and start the frameserver. VD will serve all segments to TMPG.
