Hiya folks,

Simple question, I hope; utilising the Save Segemented AVI function in VirtualDub (v1.9.2 Experimental), is it possible to specify multiple criteria's? Perhaps from Command Line - as much as I like to think I'm a bit techy, I really fall short with Command Line experience, which pretty much makes me fail XD

In this instance, I want to chop up a 2.5 Hour H264 Video with Mp3 Audio, into segments based on the Key frames, except it needs to be the last one within a 10 Minute Interval. So I need Virtualdub to continuously progress through the Keyframes until it reaches the one before 10 minutes is up (Dissecting Clips for YouTube upload, tbh).

I'd love to use the "Keyframe = 6000" which happens to equate to 10 Minutes precisely (10Fps video footage), but it will slice between key frames and my past experience has shown it disrupts the playability of the Video, sometimes entirely, something to do with particular Depencies on key frames, something I learned on this Forum as well long ago XD

And wow, if this is the Command Line stuff, I think I'm now spooked, huh.

Edit: Wow, you know what, ignore me, because I still have to process the Video... maybe, I usually reprocess at a high Video Britrate, and applying the Lanczos3 Resize to fit the YouTube resolution? Obviously re-transcoding it a bad thing, but resizing so it's not stretched by YouTube is my concern - and my current method leaves a pretty crystal picture, possible to read the Text in the Video anyway. To combine this with the Segmenting Job, it'll be a nightmare, for now I'll keep it to a manual approach. Maybe someday I'll invest in learning some VD Command line stuff though.
