I'm assuming that ISO image is bigger 4.3gb so you wanna shrink it down to fit a single layer dvd disc. Use the files you created w/fixvts and just create a VIDEO_TS folder from DVD SHRINK then you can still burn it with IMGBURN. IMGBURN can burn VIDEO_TS folders.

the iso is 4.32gb and i know i can burn VIDEO_TS folders
but i am not burning it, i am trying to make a iso that will open in dvdshrink and not get errors. there has to be a way to make an iso so dvdshrink will open it if it will play files from a video_ts folder as long as they are fixed with fixVTS

is there anyway for me to make an iso so dvdshrink will open it

i have about 12 other isos that came is the same format with the .mds file and most them play but there is like 3 that i get an error on in dvdshrink
i deleted the .mds files for them but that shouldnt mess it up so it dont open in dvdshrink so i dont get y they will not open. can someone help me out with this

  4. 2 suggestions,

1: to open an iso in dvd shrink you have to use the file/open disc image option and point to the place of the iso wether it be on the hard drive or on a disc.

2; Reinstall dvd shrink as I have known it get corrupted.

Okay well you can use the VIDEO_TS folders and use IMG TOOL CLASSIC to create a iso image.

    http://www.coujo.de/ib2/index.php?act=module&module=include&incl_name=download

scroll down that download page I posted up above and download ImgTool Classic 0.91.7
you should be able to create a iso image from that VIDEO_TS folder. then try opening it up with DVD SHRINK. Are you using the last version of DVD SHRINK? You may wanna try downloading version DVDShrink 3.2 it from the link below.

    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/

or you can download a older version like DVDShrink3.0B5 from here:

output to file format and try making an .img with another tool like Imgburn or ImgTool Classic, as was suggested, and see if that .img will open in shrink.

i'm not really sure why, that is strange.. but if you output from shrink to file format, you can then open the files with pgcedit. chances are, it will automatically alert you to any problems and offer to correct them. then you simply save the file and burn it. one thing though, the original files will be included in a backup folder, so you may want to delete these before burning.

good deal! pgcedit automatically fixed whatever the problem was.
those backup files are created when you first open the dvd with pgcedit. they are there so you can restore the files to thier original (in case you mess it up). as long as your new files open ok, you can safely delete all those backups.
