    When I click Preview to check my subs and settings, the only way I can stop the preview is by closing the window, which then makes mplayer quit unexpectedly, and a long error window come up in ffmpegX. I've tried quitting from the mplayer drop down menu (or Control+Q), but that just makes the video pause for a second and then continue.
    Is there another way I'm not finding?

    Do not close the mplayer window with the red close button or Cmd-Q,
    but quit mplayer instead with the 'Q' key (or 'ESC' key or 'Return' key).
    Does that solve it?
