  1. When I play a CD in my car (Stock Delco) it stops at the end. They all do. It's not a setting, that's the way the CD player works.

When I play a CD-R (Not a copy of a CD, but music I recorded from tape, or Legally downloaded torrent) when it gets to the end, it starts playing at #1 again.

What is on a CD (you'd buy at the store) that makes it stop at the end that a CD-R doesn't have?

How can I get my recordings to stop at the end?

    Thank you,
    Chris.

Is your home brew CD-R an Audio CD, or a data CD with MP3 audio?

My guess is your burning program is set to repeat when it comes to the end.

I've never heard of any audio CD-R that repeats by itself. It has to be a peculiarity of the player. Have you tried burning with something besides Nero?
